Napaqaro, a leading casual dining restaurant operator in France is pleased to announce the successful launch of Popeyes France with the opening of their inaugural location at Gare du Nord, Paris.
Popeyes was founded over 50 years ago in New Orleans, Louisiana and is famous for their fried chicken. Napaqaro was awarded the exclusive Master Franchise and Development Agreement in December 2021 to grow the Popeyes brand in France.
The opening day of Popeyes France was the most successful of any global Popeyes location to date in part driven by a fully digital operating structure whereby all customers ordered through a touch screen menu display and paid with card, which allowed for a higher volume of people being served compared to a traditional till system. Furthermore, through a strong online and digital presence, over 2,000,000 impressions were made to consumers before the launch to raise awareness for the brand through influencers, private events, and advertising across the city.
The group is planning further site openings across France in the coming months.
