BPP, a leading provider of professional and vocational higher education, has completed the acquisition of Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), a leading global provider of digital marketing training and certification standard. DMI brings significant strategic value to BPP adding a new high-growth vertical, ownership of a certification standard and a new channel with direct-to-consumer online course provision.
DMI was founded in 2009 in Dublin, Ireland and has become a leading global standard in digital marketing training and certification. It has certified over 55,000 individuals globally from short courses through to Masters-level programmes.
In a statement, BPP CEO Graham Gaddes said “We are seeing an ever-increasing demand from our clients and customers that want to expand their skills in digital marketing. The acquisition of DMI will allow our customers to access market leading certified programmes, whilst allowing BPP to expand into new geographies and markets.”
