Blair Thompson

Blair joined TDR Capital in 2006 and is Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Management Committee.

Blair leads the oversight and management of the firm’s and the fund’s operations.

Prior to becoming COO in 2021, Blair was General Counsel of TDR since joining in 2006. Before joining TDR, Blair was a Partner at SJ Berwin LLP, focusing on private equity fund formation, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously he worked as a corporate lawyer with Buddle Findlay. He qualified as a lawyer in New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
