Emma Gilks

Emma joined TDR Capital in 2015 and is General Counsel at the firm.

She leads all fund and transaction-related legal activities and provides strategic legal support across TDR’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining TDR, Emma qualified as a Corporate lawyer at Reed Smith LLP, where she was focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Sheffield and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
