EG Group completed the acquisition of OMV’s 285 service station networks in Germany from OMV Deutschland GmbH. The estate was purchased for an enterprise value of approximately €600 million.
Primarily located in the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg regions, the portfolio of petrol stations will help expand EG’s presence in Germany where EG already operates sites under the ESSO fuel brand. The business delivers fuel of approximately 1 billion litres per annum and comprises an attractive portfolio of forecourts with significant retail and foodservice operations.
